Dubai 1

Happy Monday, my loyal followers!

I am back! But not happy about it because my trip to Dubai was perfect and I really wanted to be longer.
When I say perfect, I really mean it and those of you who already visited Dubai know what I mean and for the rest of you..it would be hard to explain how beautiful it is, you have to experience it for yourself in order to understand me.
We've seen and done so many things..First of all, the warm smell you get when you exit the airport, the cleanness, I was pretty delighted about them.

It's gonna be hard to choose pictures because we too about 1500 pictures, so imagine...

This was our trip per days:

  • day one: Dubai Mall - the biggest mall in the world ( we didn't do shopping that day, just vising); in the night we met with my cousin who's been living there since 2000 and she brought us to Palm Jumeirah to see the Atlantis Hotel; inside the hotel it is an amazing aquarium that we enjoyed a lot! The night ended so beautifully with the most amazing ice cream place I can't explain; the guys there scoop ice cream and throw it like a basket ball game in that place. The ice cream was the best ice cream ever.

  • day 2: we met with my cousin and started our journey in Dubai Marina and after that we spent the day in Jumeirah, walking, eating, taking pictures, admiring the fancy cars. In the afternoon we went to Ibn Battuta mall, the world's largest themed shopping mall ”The Arab traveller and adventurer Ibn Battuta was a man of great vision and strong Islamic values. He set off to journey the world at the age of 20 and soon became acknowledged as a scholar and a man of great wisdom. Today Ibn Battuta Mall is the first shopping complex inspired by an individual’s life nearly six centuries after he embarked on his renowned journey.
Each region Ibn Battuta explored – Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India and China – is reflected in the architecture and theme of the mall’s six courts. These courts strongly project the historical and cultural richness of this Arabian icon’s life, serving as inspiration to all those who visit. ” - www.ibnbattutamall.com.We went back to our hotel to prepare for a memorable night in Roberto Cavalli club where we partied till the morning light. What a wonderful night we had!

At the Cavalli club

  • day 3: because we woke up late ( after parting all night), we decided to go shopping to the other  huge mall of Dubai, Mall of the Emirates. This mall has inside an artificial ski resort where people can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and all kinds of winter activities. It is absolutely amazing what these people have created in the desert.

  • day 4: this day we booked a guided tour Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates and it worth it because the guide showed us and told us so many interesting things about Abu Dhabi. First stop was to the Sheikh Zayed  mosque, the 9th largest mosque of the world. So beautiful!!! To could see the inside, we had to wear the abaya, a traditional robe which I loooved it! The mosque features 82 domes, 24 k gold gilded chandeliers and the largest knotted carpet in the world. On our way to the heritage village, the guide showed us the 7* Kempinsky hotel, one of the best hotels in the world, where the movie ”Sex and the city 2” was filmed. The heritage village was very interesting and I loved to see how people used to live. From there we had an amazing view to the city and of course we took beautiful pictures. The next stop was to Crown Plaza hotel to have lunch and after that we went to the Ferrari world ( this was the last stop) When we came back in Dubai we stopped to the Dubai Mall for the spectacular  show of the fountains that is held every night in front of Burj Kalifa, the tallest building in the world.

That's all for today! In the next post I'll tell you about the rest of the trip.

Have a perfect week, sweeties!
xoxo
